Currently, I help successful, accomplished women grow and lead powerfully by accepting, embracing and embodying their truest and authentic selves.
There’s a serene assuredness, boldness, and a certain flavour of confidence which descends from knowing who you really are. I believe that knowing, and living in alignment with, your authentic self propels these inspiring women to achieve what their souls intended for them. I’ve dedicated my life, time, and energy to guiding these gorgeous women to fulfilling their highest potential.
As an expert at reacquainting high-performing women with who they are, I ensure that they can navigate their lives with a divinely unwavering focus on doing what is of greatest importance to them: being who they were born to be.
However, this hasn’t always been me.
As an Employment Law, Leadership and Organisation Effectiveness Specialist, I focused on strategic performance and transformations. I was a ‘success’, working extensively with CEOs, Executive Boards and senior HR teams. I’d developed a significant number of leaders across the FTSE 100, and international public organisations. All in all, I was considered a "high-performer."
But, after spending years of reliving the same 65-hour weeks in my senior role, I realised that I really was “performing” in every sense of the word. In the same way that I painted my nails to pristine-ness, I painted myself as happy, and healthy. Privately, I felt the deeply disquieting discomfort of a "missing piece" in my life.
It didn't matter how much work I did. It didn't feel good enough, and I didn't feel good enough, despite my extensive CV. I cared for my kids, carried the spadework of my colleagues in a self-imposed stupor, and did my tasks without taking any time for myself, my needs, or even my mortality. The worst part was: I didn’t see anything wrong with that. I even used self-betterment solutions like positive affirmation, hypnosis, and active meditation, to give myself enough energy to keep meeting unrealistic expectations, which necessitated even more pretending, set by others and myself.
I was tired.
I was burnt out.
Despite this, I was a perfectionist. For fear of not being ‘good enough’, and being unable to perform at the unrealistic level that I expected of myself, I continued to masquerade masterfully, with the break of the morning and the brimming of night, every minute of every day until I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.
Honestly: nothing changed initially. However, my life as I knew it drew to a halt when a nurse warned me: “This is your last chance, if you want to live,”. Once the urgency poured out of her mouth and into my quivering hands, I finally realised that time was finite, and soon I would’ve run out of it.
This seemingly innocuous question, and the realisation that came from it, shook me at my core and brought me a gift of insight; “I had mastered the science of survival, but not the art of living.” This revelation would be the start of a lifelong inquiry, and adventure, into learning what it meant to truly live.
This is no longer me, because I made a choice. It doesn’t have to be you, either.
You may be wondering how the story ends. In the end, I created a life that only I get to control. By defining ‘success’ as whatever my heart desires, success and exhaustion have become mutually exclusive.
Achievement and loss are never beside each other, but peace is all around.
I changed my life into its best version, and am now sharing the ins-and-outs of those changes with the beautiful women that I lead.
If you’re ready, I’d love to share it with you, too.
Imagine standing in a new level of presence and having unbreakable self trust and the confidence to feel so whole that you need no external validation to rightfully own your space.
Imagine never second guessing yourself.
Imagine taking risks in a bold new way, knowing you're safe and secure.
Imagine building powerful relationships characterised with reciprocity.
Imagine "ease" being your new normal in your business and personal success.
Ultimately, what you think, feel and say and do are in alignment with your deepest truest desires.
You, and only you, have an authentic gift to give to the world. You have an authentic signature, one to leave your mark in the world with. You already have all the tools you need to succeed. I've done it, and if you’re ready, I’d love to share it with you, too.
